About Us

CloseRichard J. Boulter was born in Santa Ana, California.  Richard attended and played football at BYU.  He received his undergraduate degree in Zoology and Master’s Degree in Administration.  Richard has been married for 33 years to his wife Marilyn and they have three daughters Anne, Amy and Alison.  Richard is very active in his community.  He is currently the President of the Heber Valley Chamber/cvb, executive board member of the Mountain Valley Stampede Rodeo, Board member of the UVU Alumni Board and serves on the Advisory board of the Timpanogas Valley Theater Company.  Richard sings with the Swiss Choir and has performed in many local theater productions.  Richard has also officiated softball and umpired several national and world tournaments.  He recently retired as an official but now works for the Mountain West Conference as a TV timeout and instant replay official.  Richard is a partner of The Insurance Center.

CloseAlfonso was born and raised in Mexico. He has been living in Utah since 1998. He comes to the insurance world after more than 10 years of experience in property management. Professionally, Alfonso has skills in human resources, operations, planning, budgeting, and risk management. Alfonso is a skilled interpreter/translator in Spanish-English.
Alfonso loves the family life. He enjoys all the outdoor recreation activities offered throughout the western United States. Alfonso is an avid computer geek and tries to keep up to date with the current technology. He lives in Heber City with his wife, three sons and a huge white sheep dog “Rocky”.

CloseWendy was born and raised in Mapleton, Utah. Her parents moved into their new home the night she was born. She loved growing up there and the small town atmosphere. She attended UVU where she met her husband Shad. They are green through and through and love to attend basketball games at UVU with the family. Wendy is the mother of two beautiful girls and two busy handsome boys. This is a favorite past time of hers along with swimming, crocheting and reading cook books. She loves being a mom and spending time with them. Wendy has worked for the Insurance Center since 2007 and is happy to help you in any way.

CloseKenna was born and raised in Utah valley. In 1985 moved with her husband to South Carolina to go to bible school at Bob Jones University. After six years in the South, they moved back to Utah to pastor a small Baptist church in Heber City. She has 5 children and 2 grandbaby girls. 

CloseLinda grew up in Southern California. Soon after college she married her high school sweet heart; they have been married for 27 years. They have lived in Colorado and Oklahoma and now reside in Heber City Utah. She is the mother to four beautiful children, 3 girls and 1 boy. She has a great love for family, animals and sports. Very soon she will be a first time grandmother and missionary mom.

CloseCorey is a native of Utah. Born in Nephi and grew up in the Southern Utah town of Kanab, Corey now resides in Utah county for the past 26 years. Educated in Utah, Corey holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration Degree. Corey entered the Insurance business in 1985 and is a partner of the Insurance Center in Provo, Utah.

Close Joyce Ryan Lant, was born and raised in Utah.   She has been in the insurance world since 1991.  After spending 3 years at home with twin boys it was time to get back into the working world.   Joyce enjoys camping & riding 4 wheelers and spending time with her children and grandchildren.               
Joyce says her talents are being a seamstress, a mom and socializing. Loves to do for others and help with their needs..

Close Rosario was born in Mexico and has been living in the United States for the past 26 years. The last 6 years have been spent in the insurance business. She is known for her personal interest in each of the clients that she helps and is held in high regard by them. She and her husband reside in Orem, Utah and are the parents of 3 children and the grandparents of 5 grandchildren with another on the way.

Close Tyler Jones- Tyler was born and raised in Provo, Utah and attended Utah Valley University where he studied Business, History, and Spanish. Tyler has lived in Spain where he attended the Universidad de Granada. He also has lived in Mexico where he attended the Universidad de Campeche. Tyler loves the outdoors, horseback riding and working with animals. He also loves anything to do with Sports, whether it be playing, officiating, coaching or just watching. Tyler considers himself a people person as he enjoys working with others and assisting them however he can.

Close Dennis was born and raised in the Denver area. After High School he attended BYU, and served a two year mission in Switzerland.  He has owned and operated a roofing business for over 25 years before selling it and moving to Payson in 2007. Dennis and his wife Kathleen have five children and nine grandchildren. Dennis enjoys working with people, and has found it very satisfying helping individuals obtain quality insurance at affordable rates. Dennis enjoys playing golf, and watching pretty much any sporting event. Most of Dennis' satisfaction comes from time with family, and through opportunities to serve in his church.

Close Flor Tapia was born in Sonora Mexico and has lived in Utah since she was 4 years old. She attended Grantsville High School then was home schooled. She has been working for the Insurance Center for 5 years and enjoys working with people and helping them with their insurance needs and building friendships along the way. She also enjoys watching and playing sports. Her favorite basketball team is, of course, the Utah Jazz and her favorite sport is baseball. The best time is spent with her nieces Elena and Alexia whom always make her smile and laugh every day.

Close Scott was born and raised in Cache Valley, UT. He has a BS in Education from USU. He has been in the insurance business for over 30 years, with experience in home, auto, business, commercial, life, health, and annuity sales. He has been married to his sweet wife and co-worker, Robin for over 38 years. They have 5 children and 18 grandchildren. He is active in Scouting with over 35 years of service. His hobbies are, high school wrestling, hunting, and spending time with his family. He feels like he has many more years to serve his clients for their insurance needs.

Close Robin has been licensed to sell Property and Casualty Insurance since 1996. Prior to being licensed as an agent, she worked in a number of insurance office settings, serving insurance clients and managing agency office operations. She currently is working with her husband, Scott, in Logan, Utah. Scott and Robin have 5 children and 18 grandchildren. She currently is a proud owner of a 120 pound Great Dane Puppy who is the most popular guy in the neighborhood.

CloseEvan grew up in Utah and graduated from Utah State University Huntsman School of Business with a degree in Economics and a minor in Financial Planning. He loves the outdoors, especially biking and skiing. He has decided to make insurance a career choice because of the many ways he can help people. He has been married to the love of his life for 4 years and they have a little girl.

Close Shawn Iverson, CIC was born and raised in Ogden, UT. Shawn graduated from USU in Finance. He calls Las Vegas his “home away from home” as he spends one week a month working in the Las Vegas office. Every year Shawn teaches several continuing education classes for local insurance agents and community managers.  Shawn married his high school sweetheart in 1994 and they have four beautiful children that keep them active. Shawn loves playing and coaching his children in soccer, baseball, skiing, swimming, tennis and golf. 

Close Sergio was born and raised in Mexico, where he started his sales career in the automobile industry. When he was 21 he moved to California in search of a dream: to become a star. After a while, he realized that acting and singing were too competitive, so he decided to study film and television production. With hard work, he built himself a prominent career as a producer and director in the Hispanic media. Meanwhile, he met a friend that inspired him to find his real passion: the insurance industry. His friend was a successful insurance professional and he guided Sergio in the right direction leading him to eventually open up his own agency. As a result, since 2004, insurance has become his life. In 2008, he decided to explore Las Vegas, Nevada, in search of a new challenge: to serve the Hispanic market.  Sergio loves playing golf, writing, reading and giving singing lessons to youngsters. He lives with his wife, daughter and lovely Miniature Schnauzer.  

CloseScott was born and raised in Utah. Scott enjoys working with people and helping them. He is bilingual (Spanish) and has worked as a leader and manager in different fields throughout his life. He has worked as an insurance producer for the past 4 years. Scott lives in the Ogden area with his wife and four children. He enjoys all sports, especially football, basketball, baseball and golf

CloseKierstin Goodell was born and raised in the Ogden area. She has spent the last 7 years working at The Insurance Center of which the last five years have been as a licensed agent.  She loves her job and the challenges that come from finding the best insurance policy to fit her client’s needs.

CloseKristy Iverson began working with The Insurance Center in 2005 as a customer service representative.  Shortly after starting, she “aced” the insurance licensing exams to make her an agent.  Kristy is now handling “the books” with accounts receivables and payables.  Before her insurance career, Kristy was in the banking industry with America First Credit Union.  Kristy spends most of her time playing with her three children and husband.  Kristy enjoys reading, snowmobiling, swimming, camping and traveling.
